Subramaniam, or “Mani” as he is generally known, graduated in Commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University, Delhi in 1977. For his Chartered Accountancy, he articled with V. Sankar Aiyar & Co., New Delhi from 1977 to 1980. Simultaneously, he also joined Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). He cleared both examinations in first attempt. He was awarded the D. L. Mazumdar Silver Medal by the ICSI for the best paper in India on Company Law.
Mani has rich industrial experience consisting of a 5-years stint at DCM Limited, New Delhi and then another 5 years at Subros Limited as the head of Finance and Company Secretary. Since 1992, he has been a consultant to various large corporates in India.
His areas of specialization include foreign collaboration agreements, corporate law advisory services, review of internal control processes for cost reduction and rehabilitation / restructuring of financially weak companies.

“PC’, as he is known to friends, also graduated in Commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University, Delhi in 1977. He went on to do his Masters in Business Administration from University Business School, Chandigarh, India completing the same in 1979. He was awarded the University Medal for securing first rank in the MBA course.
PC worked in his family business of electronics and construction for a period of 13 years looking after finance and marketing functions. He later decided to branch out on his own and set up a practice of advisory services with his college-mate Subramaniam R. Iyer, who has been profiled above.
He has been keenly involved in project finance, preparation of business plans, financial structuring, corporate strategies and information systems.
